Minitex and the Network of the National Library of Medicine are offering a Consumer Health Information Specialization (CHIS) cohort for library staff in Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota. 

This 12-month program, beginning February 2025 combines asynchronous workshops, live virtual workshops, and monthly virtual meet-ups. By the end of the program, participants will have earned Level 1 Consumer Health Information Specialization. This cohort provides a flexible learning experience, designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of library staff in delivering consumer health information.
