Data Services On-Demand is a modular learning experience that works for you. Each module is self-contained and offers MLA CE hours as well as credit toward Data Services Specialization (DSS).

The modules are:

  • Research Data Management

While each module provides an in-depth overview of these topics, completion of the Data Services On-Demand (DSOD) in its entirety provides foundational knowledge for beginning as a data librarian. These 4 modules also meet the core curriculum requirements for the MLA DSS Level 1 certification.

Expect to spend about 4 hours working through each module.
